Summary: Quality Control Clerks are responsible for the proper stocking, rotation, and inspection of perishable merchandise in the Reinhart food distribution warehouse to ensure fresh, high quality offerings.
They are responsible for proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability.
They work with the perishables buyer and warehouse manager closely to maximize produce quality and duration of freshness.
Additional duties include completing necessary documents to insure inventory quality, quantities and pricing. Required Skills and
Experience: At least one year of warehouse and/or produce experience required Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to tolerate frequent standing and walking, be able to bend, squat, or crawl occasionally throughout the day, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds Preferred: High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
