HOSPICE WEEKEND NURSE (RN) BAYLOR
This is a 22.5 hours per week weekend Baylor
position
, and is eligible for benefits.
The Visiting Nurse Associationhas a benefitted Weekend Baylor position available for an experienced nurse on our hospice team. You will support our growing program as the primary case
manager
for hospice patients living in nursing homes and residential care facilities in the greater Burlington area.
You will care for patients and their families in collaboration with residential care staff and will support VNA s relationship with facility staff. An understanding of facility-based care and ability to work well in diverse settings is needed.
This is an every weekend position (16hrs/wk) compensated at 22.5hrs
Qualifications:
Current RN license in
vermont
Bachelor's or higher degree in nursing (or other appropriate discipline), or a combination of directly related skills and education.
Broad base of basic clinical nursing knowledge and skills, with some relevant nursing experience working with the very elderly and terminally ill desirable.
Previous experience working alone, without a
supervisor
immediately available, and as a member of a clinical team desirable
All Agency Employees are required to carry Automobile Insurance. The minimum requirements for Bodily Injury are $100,000 per person and $300,000 per incident. Proof of Insurance is required upon hire.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
